KAZUO NOGUCHI
Sushi Genki Owner/Chef

Was born in Kumamoto city, JAPAN.
After he graduated the university in Tokyo, he started working at a Japanese fine dining and Sushi restaurant in
Tokyo, JAPAN. He moved to Canada in 2001 and started working at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel as a Demi Chef
De Partie Sushi. Then he’s been working as a Sushi chef in Canada and also he’s been working as a Canadian food cook
at Quails’ Gate estate Winery. He moved to Penticton on May, 2012 and opened Sushi Genki on June, 2012.
